all of the amenities of a small town. The development is also just 5 minutes from Birds Hill Provincial Park and acts as a gateway to the Whiteshell Provincial Park.

The town is home to Oakbank Elementary, Springfield Middle School, and Springfield Collegiate Institute. Additionally, Oakbank is only 29 minutes from the Regent Avenue shopping district (including Costco, Walmart, Superstore, Canadian Tire, Home Depot and so much more).
The community is a “Heart Healthy Community”, with a multitude of parks and community clubs offering a variety of sport and recreation options, a curling club , “the Space” performing arts centre, the Springfield Panthers Snowmobile Club and much more.
Birds Hill Provincial Park
Explore an old homestead. Wander through the wild flowers. Climb to the top of the viewing tower and you'll see for miles. Walk, cycle, horseback ride through a network of trails that will take you anywhere and everywhere.
Year-round the park is a natural stage for a range of recreational activities and sporting events. In July of each year, Birds Hill Provincial Park is home to the Winnipeg Folk Festival, one of North America's largest folk music events. Everything from trail riding to interpretive programs are yours to enjoy. Watch any number of events in the park: horse shows, polo tournaments, and cycling races. Birds Hill is also a favorite picnic spot for small and large groups.
